Hot You! Hot
Three examples of Animated Gifs that will inform and entertain your viewer.
What is Java?
This Java does not come in a cup, but it sure does add a nice little kick to your pages.

Java Scripts are actually little software programs that are written directly into web pages. You do not need to add the programs to your computer in order to see and use them.  You do however, need a browser that can read Java.  {Browser - is the program you use to view web pages, the most common ones today are Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer.}  If a browser is not equipped to handle Java your program will be ignored.  When viewed without Java this page would simply shift upward, the first words a visitor sees would be, "Showing Your Web Site Visitors A Good Time!"

A little Java here and there will surely pep up your web pages.  Java can be used to add animation, games, sound and in general life to your web pages.  Care must be used as to much Java improperly placed can crash or freeze out a visitor to your web site.

There are currently several applications that can add a unique touch to your pages. Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and animated gifs to name just a few. At CLassy Computes, we use a variety of methods that will entertain and attract visitors to your site while remaining unique to you, your style.

A few examples of Java used at CLassy's:

The message on the Java clock above changes from Good Morning to Good Afternoon, etc. according to the time set on your computer, the messages can be changed to suit your purpose as well.

In order to view the pages below click on script title you wish to see, a new browser window will open, close it to return to this page.  In some Browsers you may have to use your back, < , command to return to this page.

"Mouse Over"
When you slide your mouse curser over the menu buttons (Next to the New Stars) they change color and appear to glow.  Also notice that the URL links are not underlined as per usual, giving a very handsome affect.
"Java Scroll"
Note how you can speed up, slow down, stop and reverse the movement of the scrolling words using your mouse pointer.
"Java Flag"
Most drawings can be used to create a waving flag, like this one for CLassy's World.
"Java Lake"
This popular applet is seen frequently throughout the www.  When attached to various art, photos, etc. it becomes new and unique in most cases.
"Java Games"
The games in this section are created using Java Scripting.

"Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language"
"DHTML"
DHTML is similar to Java in that it allows the viewer to interact with the document, it will usually load faster and has less of a tendency to cause browser freeze-up and/or crash. There is a serious drawback however, Microsoft's DHTML isn't the same as Netscape's DHTML. Much care needs to be taken to make sure DHTML programs can be seen by both of these Browsers in order to be viewed by the largest possible audience.

The flashing watermark that remains at the bottom of this page is one example of DHTML.  Another is the, "We will catch their eye! Dazzle Them!", message that appears when you first enter the previous page or at reload.

"Animated Gifs"
An animated gif is not a program, but rather several pictures compiled to create movement. They are created similar to the way cartoons are.  They can consist of pictures and/or text that changes or moves.  Your viewer can not interact with gifs but they will certainly catch their eye and attention.  Here are two examples of how Animated Gifs can be used.  There are also many examples through out CLassy's World.  CLassy Computes will create the right Animated Gif to add zest and appeal to your site.

Animated Gif Banners bring life to your titles.

"Extensible Markup Language"
"XML"
XML is said to be the next standard scripting language, that will eventually replace HTML. XML promises to deliver richer Web pages with capabilities that HTML just can not offer.
